Apple launches Watch Series 5, new iPad

Apple launched Apple Watch Series 5, introducing an ‘Always-On Retina’ display, several new health features and international emergency calling that lets customers call emergency services directly from Apple Watch in over 150 countries, even without an iPhone nearby. Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS) starts at $399 (INR 28,593) and Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS + Cellular) starts at $499 (INR 35,759). 

Apple’s Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Williams said, “We’ve seen Apple Watch have a meaningful impact on our customers’ lives and we’re excited to deliver even more capabilities with Apple Watch Series 5 and watchOS 6.” Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS) will be available to order beginning September 20 in the US and 38 other countries and regions. Apple Watch Series 5 is made available in a wider range of materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, ceramic and an all-new titanium option.

Apple also introduced new version of the most popular seventh-generation iPad starting at $329 (INR 23,576). The upgraded iPad features an astonishing 10.2-inch Retina display and the latest innovations including Apple Pencil2 support, the fast A10 Fusion chip, advanced cameras and sensors, unparalleled portability and connectivity, ease of use and great all-day battery life. The new iPad is available to order starting now and in stores from September 30.
