YSRCP leaders are collecting Jagan Tax, accuses Chandrababu

Reviewing the party position on his tow day tour to Visakhapatnam, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu said that TDP during its rule of 5 years took the state ahead in every matter and now what the state is witnessing is just reverse of that.

"I have come to Visakhapatnam for the first time after the elections. Party will always stand with those who struggle for it. During the TDP regime, we worked hard and kept the welfare of the public in mind. We made Andhra Pradesh number one in infrastructure development. We interlinked rivers in the state so that all reservoirs would be filled," said Naidu during a press meeting on Friday.

"We are gearing up for local body elections. We will constitute committees soon. We will provide one-third reservation for women and youth. We collected land for Amaravati capital through land pooling that saved a lot of money. But present government spoiled everything," he added.

Naidu also targetted Jaganmohan Reddy's government over its claim of reverse tendering having saved Rs 750 crores whereas in reality it will cause a loss of Rs 7,500 crores to the state. The leader of opposition also accused YSRCP of its anti-people.

The YSRCP rule is extremely bad. Party leaders are collecting "J Tax" (Jagan tax). I saw many Chief Ministers but I have never seen a Chief Minister like him. The law should be the same for all. I warn the government to change its arrogant attitude. The government is targeting our party leaders. That is not fair," accused Naidu.
