With just a day to go for Andhra Pradesh's cabinet minister's oath taking ceremony, the lack of clarity over who will be in the cabinet has got everyone guessing. While all the 151 MLAs from YSRCP have been asked to attend the oath taking ceremony which will be held in AP Secretariat, some of the MLAs have already received special calls and feelers indicating their inclusion.
Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, who defeated Nara Lokesh in a much-anticipated contest from Mangalagiri is expected to be inducted into the cabinet tomorrow. Koramutla Srinivasulu, MLA from Railway Kodur who won in 2009 on Congress ticket and later joined YSRCP floated by Jagan has apparently got a confirmation already on his berth. Srinivasulu won the 2012 by-election from Kodur and later won the 2014 and 2019 assembly elections as well.
Senior leaders like Anantharami Reddy and 3 time MLA G Srikanth Reddy from Rayachoti are also in contention for key berths. Meanwhile, Jaganmohan Reddy is giving a final shape to his team of ministers. As expected, caste compositions, regional and community equations along with seniority are being considered for the ministry among other factors.
Meanwhile Chief Secretary LV Subhramanyam reviewed the arrangements for the oath taking ceremony and directed the officials to install signages at evry junction to indicate route towards the Secretariat. With a large number of followers of MLAs expected to attend the ceremony LED screens have been installed to ensure smooth organisation of the event.
