The ruling Telugu Desam Party is all set to lose the State as the party is trailing in majority constituencies as YSRCP candidates are leading in 150 constituencies after the counting was over in second-round.
Even Nara Lokesh, the Panchayat Raj Minister and son of CM Naidu is trailing in Mangalagiri against YSRCP candidate Alla Ramakrishna Reddy.
Alongside Lokesh, Ministers and former ministers Atchennaidu, Kidari Sravan, Narayana, Akhilapriya, Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy, Ayyanna Patrudu, Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao, N. Chinarajappa are trailing in their respective constituencies.
In West Godavari district where TDP and BJP won all the 15 constituencies in 2014 elections, YSRCP is leading in 13 constituencies while TDP has been restricted to lead in only two constituencies, one being Denduluru.
In the last elections, TDP won 14 seats and BJP won one seat from West Godavari as the alliance swept the district.
Telugu Desam party is leading in less than 30 constituencies after the completion of second-round counting. The lead of YSRCP reached 150 by that time.
While YSRCP cadres are jubilant, TDP cadres are nowhere seen and the residence of Chandrababu lies deserted, celebrations are on at Jagan's residence in Vijayawada.
Starting from postal ballots, the lead of YSRCP continued to be upwards and TDP never matched the numbers of YSRCP regarding the leads.
