'Super expensive' Rs 73 lakhs worth windows for CM Jagan's home

Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu is targeting Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy with one G.O. after another. Earlier this week Naidu lashed out at the YSRCP chief over his party's decision for changing 'Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Puraskar' to 'YSR Vidya Puraskar'.

In a fresh row, Naidu has again attacked Reddy over a G.O that stated Jagan got Rs 73 lakhs sanctioned for the installation of aluminium windows, doors and other miscellaneous works in the CM’s camp residence and office block at Tadepallli.

Nara Lokesh, TD national secretary, also shared the GO and termed the sanction of Rs 73 lakh as “unbelievable”. He further commented in his tweet, “A mind-blogging Rs 73 lakh, I repeat Rs 73 lakh, has been allotted for windows for @ysjagan’s house. He says he takes home Rs 1 as salary. Such hypocrisy."

He further added that Rs 16 crore were spent on the house of the CM during the past five months.

Naidu also took to Twitter and attached the Government Order. "This comes at a time when AP is grappling with a fiscal mess caused by mismanagement in the last five months. Truly cringe-worthy," stated the leader of the opposition.

Meanwhile, YSRC supporters, refuting the claims of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy wasting money, commented that due to security reasons, changes were needed. "There was nothing wrong in sanctioning funds," they said.
