YSRCP MLA RK Roja, who was in Guntur on Wednesday addressing the women wing committee meeting said that the AP chief minister Chandrababu was responsible for Congress's defeat in Telangana.
Roja also accused Chandrababu of misleading voters in Telangana using bogus survey conducted by former MP LAgadapati Rajagopal who in his survey had predicted that the Prajakutami would secure a majority in the state if the polling percentage crosses 68%. Lagadapati also predicted that if the polling percentage drops there would be a hung assembly.
Roja said that now that the people of Telangana have given a befitting reply to Chandrababu it was time for the people of Andhra to show him the door. She said that TDP will lose the elections in Andhra as people have no trust in them anymore.YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy and the fact that he is also trying to protect offenders in the state. She also accused him of being more worried about his son's chances as the future chief minister of AP.
Roja along with other YSRCP leaders said that, had Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee contested elections on their own they could have easily secured 50-60 seats in the assembly elections. They also cautioned the Congress party of facing the same defeat in the national polls if they enter into a pre-poll alliance again.
