Only Hindus will be appointed in jobs in Hindu temples: AP CM
Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has passed orders that only Hindus will be appointed in jobs in Hindu temples. Until now, such policy existed only in Tirumala where only Hindus are appointed in TTD. Since Jagan himself not belongs to Hindu religion and its belief system, his decision to allow only Hindus work in Hindu temples has become talk of the state now.

In a GO issued by the state government, it is decided that only persons from Hindu religion are allowed to work in Hindu Temples and its departments. If there are any people from other religion working in Hindu Temples, as per the GO, such persons would be transferred to other departments. This is in the wake of BJP's AP unit which has been fighting against Jagan's administration over the injustice to Hindus and Hindu Temples.

BJP AP unit chief Kanna along with other state leaders have met Governor Biswabhusan and complained against the government's move to take the lands of Hindu temples into its control. Jagan's fresh move is expected to settle down things in the state and this decision is a welcome move as it would avoid any unwanted incidents like propaganda of other religion near Hindu temples.
