Former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal announced his exit poll results on Sunday evening after the completion of the last phase of polling predicting a win for ruling TDP and giving YSRCP again the opposition status.
According to his survey conducted before and after the polls, TDP retains power in Andhra Pradesh with seats between 90 to 110 seats. YSRCP could manage to get seats between 68 to 79, according to predictions of Lagadapati Rajagopal. He said that TDP is getting 43% votes of the total votes polled and YSRCP is all set to get just 41% of votes. Thus his prediction indicates that TDP gets single-handedly in this election, the voting got by TDP, BJP, and Janasena in 2014.
Others may get 1-5 seats, which indicates that Pawan Kalyan would win from Janasena and his party could secure only a couple of seats with 11% vote share. As per his comments a day earlier that the Janasena Supremo may enter the assembly, Pawan Kalyan could be one of the candidates who win from Janasena.
He gave 18-20 Loksabha seats to TDP and seven to 10 seats to YSRCP in his predictions for the general election in Andhra Pradesh.
Lagadapati revealed that they took 1200 samples in each constituency they surveyed. In Andhra Pradesh, they took 1,44,000 samples in around 120 constituencies.
In Telangana, Lagadapati Rajagopal predicted victory to TRS with 12-16 Loksabha seats and gave chances of getting 0-1 seats to Congress and BJP.
