Jagan is now CM of Andhra Pradesh

With 30,000 spectators in Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada cheering him, YS Jaganmohan Reddy took oath as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday. Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the swearing-in of Jagan. 

Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao and DMK president MK Stalin attended the ceremony, while outgoing CM of AP Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan were absent. 

At 12.23 pm, Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath of Jaganmohan Reddy as CM. 

Jagan took his oath in Telugu starting with "YS Jaganmohan Reddy ane neenu"(Me, YS Jaganmohan Reddy). He took oath on the name of the god. The crowd cheered gleefully when he gave a small break after saying 'YS' while spelling his name as "YS Jaganmohan Reddy" in the course of oath taking. 

After the oath-taking, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, shook hands with Governor and the latter congratulated him with a flower bouquet. After that Governor greeted family members of Jagan before leaving the venue. 

After Governor left the venue, Telangana CM KCR and DMK president and leader of opposition MK Stalin were invited on to the dais.
