The nation is waiting with bated breath for the results in general elections 2019. However, the hypertension is a bit more in Andhra Pradesh in which the State assembly too went to polls alongside general elections. Now the results D-day is approaching and there are just a few hours for counting to start.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which went to polls in the first phase on April 11th, has more waiting time than the other States. Meanwhile, several surveys that went viral on social media painted a picture of Jaganmohan Reddy, the YSRCP chief as the would be CM. On the date of conclusion of elections, all the national news channels released exit polls they too gave the probability of Jagan being Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh by projecting more seats to his party. However, on the same day, former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal announced his survey results and predicted the coming back of TDP to power.
Even then the public mood in the State is with the viral surveys and the exit polls of national surveys. YSRCP leaders are making a buzz with their leader being CM and are seeking Babu to go home.
In this backdrop, Jagan who was silent after elections except for his statement on the day of the first phase of elections, posted on Facebook.
The post says, "not fearing the scorching heat, people voted in queues. Their effort enhanced the value of democracy. I will be responsible for their good as per the blessings I received from them". YSRCP released a poster too on the basis of the post.
Thought the post or the poster does not mention the word 'CM', the raconteur reflects the person on that chair. This indicates that Jagan declared indirectly that he will be the CM of the State after the declaration of results. He further posted that he wants to materialise "Rajanna Rajyam" (the kingdom of Rajanna), which reminds the people of his legendary father YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The post and poster gave a boost to the fans of Jagan on social media.
