YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy said that implementation of 'Navratna's will be his first priority as Chief Minister. Jagan responded regarding his party's victory in Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections in a press meet on Thursday evening. Jagan expressed his gratitude to the people of AP for blessing him with such a landslide victory and assured them that he shall work up to their satisfaction. He said that he did not hear about victory to this extent.
He said that implementation of 'Navaratnas', which are part of his party's manifesto would be his first preference after taking over Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the victory of YSRCP in AP increased his responsibility towards people.
Jagan said that God gives the opportunity of being CM of Andhra Pradesh to only one citizen out of five crore people. He thanked God for giving that opportunity to him and said that he will work in a way that the people will view him as a 'benevolent Chief Minister'.
He was talking in Telugu and the gathering asked him to talk in English. The Chief Minister in waiting of Andhra Pradesh spoke the same words in English.
He ended the meeting by announcing that he will take oath as Chief Minister in Vijayawada on 30th of this month.
