Harikrishna’s Death a Massive Loss To State

The news of actor, politician Nandamuri Harikrishna's death shook the two Telugu states and shocked everyone. Harikrishna who famously drove the ‘Chaitanya Radham’ during his father’s election campaigns during the 80’s also worked as a transport minister during the united AP days succumbed to head injuries which he received in an accident near Nalgonda.

Chief Minister of AP, Chandrababu Naidu and son Nara Lokesh rushed to Hyderabad as soon as the news of Harikrishna’s death broke out. Describing Harikrishna’s death as an ‘irreplaceable loss to the state and TDP’, Naidu said, “As an actor, he found a place in the hearts of the Telugu people and made several contributions to the film industry. He was one of those, who was most liked by NTR. He rode NTR's Chaitanya Ratham (campaign vehicle) himself and took NTR to the people. He was simple and without pride.
