Andhra Pradesh agriculture minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy got permission from Election Commission to conduct review meetings on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the minister reached his office in secretariat but no officer attended the meeting. Hence he was forced to go back without any review.
In the backdrop of the effect of cyclone in the state, CM Chandrababu Naidu asked EC to relax code in the state. Somireddy too wrote to EC to allow him to conduct review meetings.
He got permission on Thursday from EC to conduct reviews. He will conduct a review meeting in his office on Friday at 4 pm. The review meeting would be on drought conditions existing in the state and the status of agriculture.
