Amaravati/Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu warned Election Commission of making a mockery of democracy. He spoke to reporters on Saturday about EC's orders of not allowing him to conduct review meetings. He questioned why the central government is conducting cabinet meetings?
He said that his fight is to uphold democracy and he is touring other states to meet various political parties to protect democracy. CM contended that a democratically elected government has five years term to rule but within that term, EC is throwing spanners in his administration.
He told the reporters that it is not fair for officials to disturb the administration of an elected government.
