Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan lashed out at YSRCP for causing irreparable damage to almost 20,000 people due to their delay tactics on Amaravati. Pawan also hit out at Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy for stopping the works on Polavarm and termed the act as 'cheap politics'
"About 20,000 people have lost their livelihood directly and indirectly with stoppage of the Amaravati project," accused Pawan. Pawan was addressing a public meeting at Bhimavaram as a part of his two days tour.
"Because of their immature decisions, the state may forego investment opportunities and the leaders who are well aware of repercussions, should not take such decisions," said Pawan.
Adding on to his list of accusations, Pawan stated that YSRCP was politicising the Kapu reservation issue by reversing the previous TDP government's orders. If a complex issue like Telangana statehood can be solved in this country, why can't Kapu reservation?, he questioned.
While the Janasena chief was critical of the YSCRCP government's policies on Polavaram and Amaravati, he refused to comment on the performance of the Jagan led YSRCP government on other issues and said that he would observe the newly formed government for 100 days before commenting on their work.
