Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, had visited the Tata Experience Centre in Mumbai on Monday and assured complete cooperation after the Tata group made a presentation on their plans for Andhra Pradesh.
The Tata group had shown their interest in setting up their electric vehicle manufacturing sector in the state along with investing in the hospitality sector. The Tata group is currently working on the electric vehicle in 9 other cities and expected to launch their car in 2 months.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had also explained the Chairman of Tata Trusts Ratan N Tata the potential of tourism in the state. He explained that they had set a target of constructing one lakh rooms to boost the hotel industry. He insisted that Andhra Pradesh was currently the best place to invest in the hotel industry.
Chandrababu Naidu had suggested the Tata group to invest in the manufacturing of electric buses in the state. He also announced that the first international flight from Vijayawada to Singapore is set to take off from October 2nd.
