Andhra government targeting me, alleges Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh leader of opposition Chandrababu Naidu questioned the ways of functioning of the YSRCP government and said that they were targetting him in every matter unnecessarily. The way they are taking steps against him made it appear that he is the only problem in the state, Naidu pointed out. The former Chief Minister was speaking to the TDP workers in Chittoor district when he made the statement.

Naidu added that Jaganmohan Reddy's entire energy and focus was on him and his house and not on the real issues of the people of the state. He was referring to the notice issued for the demolition of his house and scaling down of his security by the government. The government itself does not know why it demolished Praja Vedika," Naidu said referring to demolition of the meeting hall built during his rule close to his house in Amaravati.

The TDP Chief commented that Jagan was doing all this out of sheer frustration and that the 30 internal probes against him which gave out no favourable result for the YSRCP government is making him do things like this. Speaking about the attacks on the TDP cadre, Naidu pointed out that 6 TDP workers had lost their lives after the YSRCP government came to power. He asked the cadre to be strong and not be scared of any external factors as he was with them in this hour of crisis.
