Results for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) of Telangana were announced on Monday at 11.30 am. Unlike the Inter results, 92.43 % of students passed the examination. 

Compared to the previous year, there is an increase of 8.56% in pass percentage. Last year only 83.78 % of students cleared the exam.

Students can get their results on the official website bse.telangana.gov.in or results cgg.gov.in

While Jagitial district in the state stood top with 99.73% pass percentage, Hyderabad district stood last with 83.09 pass percentage. 

Considering the regular students, girls recorded the highest pass percentage of 93.68, while boys scored 91.18%. 

Students in Private schools secured 53.53 in pass percentage. Out of 11,260 private high schools, 4,374 secured 100% results. 

Telangana BC residential welfare schools secured the highest pass percentage of 91.78%. Social Welfare residential schools were a bit up to secure 96.56%. Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya secured 95.07% and 93.09 % of students of Telangana Tribal Welfare residential schools passed while Zilla Parishad schools secured 91.26%.

Regarding pass percentage, English Medium schools got the highest pass percentage of 94.32 followed by Telugu medium with 89.26%. Urdu medium had 84.63%, while other mediums, which include Kannada, Gujarati, etc, had 82.41%. 

For those who failed to clear the exams, advanced supplementary exams will be conducted from June 10 to June 24. The last date for the payment of fee is May 27.

Around 5,20,000 students had appeared for the exams conducted from 16th March to 3rd April. The results were announced by the State Education Department Convener Janardhan Reddy.
