Girls dominate SSC results in Andhra Pradesh

Tenth results in Andhra Pradesh have been released on Tuesday in Commissionerate of School Education, Ibrahimpatnam, Vijayawada by Commissioner Sandhya Rani.

SSC exams were conducted from March 18 to April 3. Across the State, 99.5% of 6,21,634 students wrote exams in 2,839 centres. 

In the results announced 94.88 % of students cleared their exams this year. Boys achieved 94.68% and girl students' pass percentage stood slightly higher at 95.09. Out of the 11,690 schools in the State, 5,464 schools achieved 100 % success. Three schools recorded zero % pass. Two of the schools that got a zero percent rate were private ones and one school is aided one. 

Districtwise results show that East Godavari district got the highest success rate with 98.19 pass percentage. Nellore stood last with 83.19 % pass percentage.
