BJP leader claims Pak and China responsible for air pollution in NCR

In a bizarre statement that has taken everybody by surprise, Vineet Sharada, a BJP leader from Uttar Pradesh has claimed that Pakistan and China are releasing poisonous gasses in India. He further went on to claim that both these nations and their vendetta is the main reason for the rising pollution levels in the Delhi NCR.

The National Capital Region is facing extreme levels of air pollution which has not just reduced the visibility but even made breathing difficult for a lot of people. The Air Quality Index is showing alarmingly high numbers with the government recommending people to venture out only with the special pollution masks on.

"Ye jo zehreeli hawa aa rahi hai, zehreeli gas aayi hai ho sakta hai kisi bagal ke mulk ne chhodi ho jo humse ghabraya hua hai. (There is a possibility that this poisonous gas could have been released by any neighbouring country which is afraid of us.) I feel that Pakistan or China are afraid of us," BJP leader Vineet Agarwal Sharda told ANI.

"We must seriously consider whether Pakistan has released any poisonous gas," he added.

Giving the situation a fresh narrative Sharada claimed that ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah took the charge of matters, Pakistan has been resorting to all such tactics.

"Whenever Pakistan fought a war with India, it was defeated. Since PM Modi and Amit Shah came, Pakistan has become frustrated," he said.

The BJP leader also criticised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for blaming stubble burning in Haryana and Punjab for the alarming pollution levels in the national capital region.

"People including Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal say pollution is caused by stubble burning or industrial emission. The farmer is the backbone of our country. Farmer and industries should not be blamed."

"This is a time of Krishna and Arjuna. PM Modi as Krishna and Amit Shah as Arjuna together will take care of it," he added.
