Do you believe if we say that Kamal Hassan have spent 60 years of his life in film industry? Yes! This legendary actor with stunning characters and his performance does total justice to the role and the entire film. Celebrating this veteran actor’s contribution to the film industry, a three-day gala from November 7th to 9th will be hosted in Paramkudi, Chennai which is marked as his hometown.

Kamal Hassan with his astounding performance has never gone wrong. With not just stuck with acting, he is also a dancer, film director, screenwriter, producer, playback singer, lyricist and politician. Reports said Kamal Hassan will be unveiling the statue of his father D Srinivasan, a lawyer and a freedom fighter on the first day.

The next day the schedule is that he will be unveiling the statue of his mentor, late director K Balachander, at the official premises of Raajkamal Film International Studio in presence of Balachander’s family and few other prominent personalities from the film industry.

Talking about his professional front, this stellar actor entered the film industry when he was 3 years old and enacted a young boy’s role in the movie in Kalathur Kannamma. He also won the President's Gold Medal for the role he enacted. Since then he has featured in more than 200 films in various languages like Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam languages. Some of his notable movies include Nayakan, Mahanadi, Pushpak, Sadma, Saagara Sangamam and more can be added to the list.

At this event, Kamal Hassan’s movie Hey Ram will be screened. He is the director of the movie and also the lead actor. Rani Mukerji sharing the screen with this stellar actor and is also revealed that Shah Rukh Khan will be playing a special guest role in the movie.
